Job Description
Lexington Christian Academy seeks motivated, reliable applicants for the position of Middle School After School Study Hall Coordinator. The Coordinator supervises a 90 minute after-school study hall for 6th-8th graders. This study hall exists to accommodate families who are unable to pick their students up at the end of the school day.
Responsibilities
Being present on LCA Main Campus to supervise students from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. This means arriving by 3:15 and staying until 5:15.
Enforcing Study Hall Policies including:
No cell phones
Homework or quiet board game activities only
No video/computer games
Receiving communication from the Front Desk when parents arrive and dismissing students in a timely manner.
Keeping record of who enters and exits Study Hall and at what time.
Providing guidance and/or accountability as students work on homework assignments.
Intervene in any student conflicts and help mediate social concerns if they arise. Report any concerning behavior to the Principal.
Ensure the safety and productivity of all students present for Study Hall after school.

Monday - Friday on any day that school is in session.
Compensation
This position is compensated with a stipend of $2,600 per trimester. Internal LCA faculty applicants can apply for the role by trimester.
