Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder

Job Description

Candidates will perform both MIG and TIG welding processes along with some fabrication and minimal mechanical assembly work. They will be assisting with welding large custom industrial ovens, working off blueprints to TIG and MIG weld the ovens. This position includes a mixture of bench and custom welding, predominantly focused on custom work using stainless steel. Additionally, candidates will utilize hand and power tools as well as basic fabrication equipment. The work involves 75% welding and 25% assembly, with potential for more assembly depending on project stages. All welding will be on mild or stainless steel, with opportunities to do both MIG and TIG if skilled.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding processes on large custom industrial ovens.
• Work from blueprints to execute welding tasks.
• Utilize hand and power tools as well as basic fabrication equipment.
• Engage in a mix of bench and custom welding, with a focus on custom work.
• Weld using stainless and mild steel materials.
• Assist with mechanical assembly as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes.
• Experience with stainless steel and blueprint reading.
• Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
