Must be able to perform business development tasks, including managing a pipeline by generating new leads and referral business as well as maintaining relationships with existing and past clients. It is essential to maintain knowledge of all applicable lending regulations, the economy, market rates, vendors, and competitors. It is essential to obtain relevant information and evaluate the applicant's financial status, including credit history, debt-to-income, and appraisal reports to determine recommendations for loan approval.

Minimum Qualifications:

• NMLS Licensing Required (Passed 20 hour Safe Test)
• Must pass a Background Check
• Associates Degree in business administration, finance, economics or related field
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to use relevant industry-specific computer programs as well as calculators
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain the risks and benefits of loan products and government regulations
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• 2+ years of experience in the mortgage lending, banking, or real estate industry
