We’re looking for a highly skilled motion graphics designer with a strong creative vision and a passion for storytelling through design for a global consulting firm. In this role, you’ll lead the development of innovative visual content that helps internal clients communicate complex ideas in compelling ways.

As a seasoned designer, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop strategy-driven, visually impactful motion graphics—from concept and storyboarding through to execution and delivery. Your expertise in animation, video production, and motion design will drive the creation of high-quality content that meets business goals and brand standards.

  • Remote position: Must be located in one of the following cities for consideration: Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Detroit, MI, Houston, TX, Minneapolis, MN, Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, or St. Louis, MO.
  • Work Hours 9am - 6pm EST, 40 hrs/week
  • Length: 3-6 months
  • Pay: $40-43/hr W2 + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative development of motion graphics projects, from concept to final delivery
  • Collaborate with internal clients to understand objectives and translate ideas into strong visual narratives
  • Design and animate graphics, infographics, and kinetic typography
  • Edit raw video, integrating motion elements to enhance storytelling
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables with precision
  • Guide creative ideation sessions, offering fresh design perspectives and solutions
  • Apply brand guidelines effectively while pushing the creative boundaries
  • Handle pre- and post-production tasks, including sound mixing, color correction, and compression

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia, Digital Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in motion graphic design, with a strong digital portfolio
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro , and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to present creative ideas effectively
  • Familiarity with typography, composition, brand application, and design systems
  • Experience in video production, post-production workflows, and file compression techniques
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

Preferred/Plus:

  • Experience with Cinema 4D , 3D modeling/animation , or Unity (real-time design tools)
  • Proficiency with third-party motion plugins like Red Giant Complete
  • Experience storyboarding for video and motion projects
  • Working knowledge of sound design , color correction , and visual effects
  • Familiarity with stock footage/music libraries and voiceover coordination
  • Experience managing creative vendors and working with external agencies
  • Understanding of copyright, licensing, and usage rights for digital assets
