Operation Blessing - Virginia Beach, VA

Operation Blessing (OB) is seeking a National Media Liaison to report OB's efforts to help those in need in the wake of disasters. This position will capture footage of disaster relief efforts in real time as well as create compelling stories and testimonials for Operation Blessing and other ministry media outlets.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Professional experience in television production, print journalism, communications media, and/or public relations
• Advanced video production skills including shooting, lighting, editing, and media formatting for web and broadcast
• Technical proficiency with remote LIVE broadcast using TVU or Skype
• Expertise with professional DSLR cameras (Sony A7SIII or equivalent) and broadcast audio equipment
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
• Strong feature story writing abilities
• Strong interviewing skills
• Professional photography experience
• Experience creating modern social media content, such as Instagram reels and YouTube shorts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Professional interpersonal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Authorization to make business-related purchases
• Required to travel and remain in the field during disaster deployments
• Must be available for flexible hours and short-notice travel
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Personal vehicle required for non-disaster work responsibilities
