The Network Technician performs installation and termination of structured cabling systems, including CAT5E, CAT6 and fiber optic cable. Installs, terminates, and tests data jacks and face plates. Moves-adds-changes of phones and desktop computers. Installation of cabling for card access systems. Install of network and server equipment into racks. Data closets build out.
