We are seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with a sub-specialty interest in endovascular neurosurgery and/or spine surgery, including those with interests in MIS, pain and/or peripheral nerve, to join our established practice. These well-qualified new faculty members will manage and build upon a thriving academic department at the Assistant/Associate, and/or Professor rank. Rutgers has a residency program, a vast campus community, and clinical centers at New Jersey Medical School in Newark and at Cooperman Barnabas in Livingston. Vast opportunity exists to develop clinical or laboratory research within the framework of the Rutgers institution. Exceptional teamwork, program development, teaching and mentorship abilities are essential, though we also welcome applicants with a demonstrated ability to develop independent research programs with extramural funding. The candidates will be expected to contribute to clinical and educational activities with an emphasis on mentoring students and trainees. Prospective applicants interested in basic research will also be granted protected time to develop lab interests and acquire extramural funding.
