The M80 Neuro Transitional Care is part of Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute. Our neurology, neurosurgery, and pediatric neurology and neurosurgery programs are recognized as among the best in Ohio.
Caregivers in the M80 Neuro Transitional Care U nit provide care to patients who suffer from ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, status epilepticus/seizures, brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders and spinal injuries. An RN in this role is familiar or educated with intracranial pressure monitoring, seizure monitoring, lumbar punctures and central/arterial line placement. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans, and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ condition.
