We are a family/employee owned local company that has 40+ years of doing business on the island of Kauai.  We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver who is interested in job longevity to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products. Must reside on the island of Kauai.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Ensure accurate delivery of items by verifying orders before departure and obtaining necessary signatures upon delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road to ensure safety.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Commercial driving experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with vans or other delivery vehicles.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience in operations, including loading/unloading goods.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as required.
