Operating Room Assistant (Entry Level Position) to support our Operating Room Team at Providence St. Joseph Hospital of Orange in Orange, CA. This is a Full-Time position that will have varying shift start times.
Under the immediate supervision of the Lead Support Technician and the general direction of the Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, the Support Tech provides ancillary services in the Operating Room. The three major responsibilities consist of the following: 1) ensuring the availability of well-functioning equipment for every surgical case, 2) assisting nursing personnel in room set up & turnover and in selected patient support services such as turning, lifting, and transporting patients, and 3) maintaining a safe and clean work environment in the O.R. suites and peripheral areas.
