Before you start, we need to get you up-to-speed on some important details so you're ready to hit the ground running.

The UPS Mebane warehouse currently has the Day, Twilight and Night sorts in operation, and we are eagerly anticipating the opening of the Sunrise sort!

New employees that are hired to work on the Sunrise sort will train for up to 3 weeks during the night sort hours. They will then switch to the normal sort hours moving forward.

Shift Impacted: Sunrise Sort

Temporary Sunrise Sort Hours (Up to October 22, 2024)

1:00 AM – 4:00 AM

Permanent Sunrise Sort Hours (October 22, 2024)

4:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Who exactly are UPS Warehouse Workers?

Also known as Package Handlers, many of our Warehouse Workers load/unload packages in and out of UPS trailers or our signature brown trucks. Others sort packages to ensure they make it to the right destination. They are a diverse, collaborative, energetic team- and they enjoy fast-paced work.

The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour
