We're seeking a PACS Administrator to support a high-volume healthcare IT environment. This is a hands-on, impactful role for someone with solid experience in technical support-especially within around-the-clock clinical settings. You'll be responsible for managing and enhancing PACS systems, ensuring they run seamlessly and integrate effectively across the organization's care sites.
Hybrid schedule; onsite support required on a rotating basis
Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
Key Responsibilities of the IT Systems Administrator (PACS/RIS) Manage daily PACS operations, including image workflows, archiving, routing, and prefetching
Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for PACS-related issues; troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity challenges
Collaborate with IT, HIM, and clinical teams to ensure complete, accurate image data capture
Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external vendors for system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment
Administer credentials and access for systems including Active Directory, mobile device management tools, and security platforms
Monitor system performance and conduct metrics-driven analysis to drive improvements
Support budgeting and lead upgrade planning, system migrations, and new software installations
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
Ideally 3-5 years of relevant experience, including direct PACS support
Solid hands-on experience with tools such as Python and Power BI
Familiarity with HIPAA security practices preferred

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required
Minimum three to five years of relevant experience
At least three years working with Python, Power BI, and similar technologies
Knowledge of HIPAA security preferred
Additional Notes: Spanish is a very strong plus

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACS Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be a career-minded, bilingual (Spanish/English) IT professional with a strong background in technical support within high-volume, 24x7 environments. The PACS Administrator will play a key role in supporting and managing the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and ensuring seamless operation and integration within our healthcare facilities
Essential Job Functions Oversee the day-to-day operation of PACS equipment, including image workflow, archiving, auto routing, and prefetching.
Provide tier two and tier three support for multiple radiology PACS systems. Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
Work closely with HIM, IT departments, and clinical staff to ensure timely and complete capture of DICOM digital image data into the PACS system.
Act as a liaison between departments and vendors for system upgrades, planning, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and implementations.
Provide training and technical support to end-users, including operations personnel, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Manage user credentials for Active Directory, Email, Mobile Iron, and Brivo Security. Support and manage mobile devices, including PCs, smartphones, tablets, and more.
Conduct key metric reporting and analysis to identify performance improvements and optimize processes.
Participate in budget planning and coordinate upgrades, software installations, and migration efforts.

Education, Experience, Skills, and Requirements Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business, or related field required.
At least three to five years of related experience.
Three years of experience working with Python, Power BI, and other technology.
