Job Overview:

Bay Area Floors & Design is seeking an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility with the option to work hybrid or fully in-house, but requires regular on-site presence in our showroom. We’re looking for a creative, reliable designer who is proficient in 2020 Design software and passionate about helping clients build beautiful, functional kitchen spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Create custom kitchen designs using 2020 Design
• Meet with clients to gather needs and preferences
• Develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
• Assist clients in selecting finishes, cabinetry, and hardware
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure accuracy and quality throughout the design and delivery process

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of residential kitchen design experience
• Proficiency with 2020 Design is required
• Strong space planning and design skills
• Excellent communication and client service
• Must be available to work at least 3 days per week in-store, including at least 2 Saturdays per month
• Interior Design degree or certification is a plus
