What Are We Looking For in a Great Candidate?

• Excellent Communication: Superior written and oral communication skills to facilitate frequent discussions with insureds and underwriters using multiple communication methods.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with underwriting and rating systems for multiple insurance carriers.
• Market Knowledge: Understanding of market availability and underwriting guidelines for both standard insurance carriers and surplus lines brokers.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel, AMS360, Microsoft Word, Teams Messenger, Microsoft Outlook, and other workflow and document-sharing programs.
• Decision-Making: Ability to make quick decisions and thrive in a deadline-driven, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Client Focus: A professional who truly enjoys working with clients and providing expert insurance guidance.
• Licensing: Active 4-40 or 2-20 Florida Insurance License required.

Job Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Daily engagement with clients, including reviewing policies, answering questions, offering solutions regarding coverage, billing, claims, and handling policy changes and renewals.
• Cross-Selling: Assist current clients with the sale of additional coverages and provide expertise to help customers make informed buying decisions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed client files and records of insured interactions.
• Team Flexibility: Willingness to perform other tasks as requested.
