Job Title: Pharmacist – Oncology

Location: Ithaca, NY

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $60 to $75 per hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking  Pharmacist – Oncology for an exciting Travel or Local job in  Ithaca, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of investigational drug services (IDS), including protocol implementation and compliance.
• Support daily operations of the oncology infusion pharmacy, including preparation and dispensing of chemotherapy and other oncology medications.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards, including FDA, GCP, USP <797>/<800> , and other applicable guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between pharmacy, clinical teams, investigators, and study sponsors.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory control of investigational and clinical medications.
• Provide education and protocol support to clinical staff and pharmacists regarding study medications and trial procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy personnel involved in investigational or clinical oncology services.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize safe and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure in New York State).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in:
• Investigational drug services, and/or
• Oncology pharmacy (infusion/chemotherapy)
• Knowledge of clinical trial protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and FDA investigational drug regulations.
• Familiarity with oncology infusion workflows, chemotherapy safety protocols, and sterile compounding.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
