Job Description

Position : Phlebotomy Technician (Phlebotomist)

Location : Lincoln City, OR 97367

Pay scale : $1400 Weekly gross

Shift : Day Shift

Responsibilities :

• Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques.
• Label and properly store blood samples for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood draws.
• Ensure aseptic and safe procedures during blood collection.
• Interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner, addressing their concerns.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of specimens.

Requirements :

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Technician program or equivalent training.
• Phlebotomy Technician certification.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in blood collection techniques.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control.
