Position Overview System High Corporation delivers advanced protection and secrecy solutions to secure critical missions, programs, operations, and intelligence activities. We are seeking a Physical Security Specialist to join our team to contribute to our success and solve problems with innovation through intelligence. The PHYSEC Specialist provides support in physical, personnel, industrial, and information security of customer facilities, guiding personnel, units, and visitors as needed. Duties Include, But Not Limited To Information Security (6%) Manage distribution systems for sensitive unclassified material, prepare and coordinate packages, and account for all received packages.

PHYSEC (64%)

Staff the Visitor Control Center, verify credentials, match visit requests, and issue access badges. Perform secret-level access verification for visitors and ensure prior notification to facility occupants. Conduct and document random inspections of items brought into or removed from the facility. Maintain access control and alarm systems to protect information and assets. Respond to alarms, notify appropriate personnel, and verify system operation. Conduct monthly inspections of controlled areas and confiscate prohibited items. Monitor CCTV systems to ensure safety and security. Exercise / Event Security Support (6%) Provide security support during exercises and events in addition to normal duties. Clearance Current DOD Secret Clearance. Experience 4 years relevant experience (2 specialized). Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Teamwork, communication, office skills, customer focus, knowledge of SAP processes. Perform physical and personnel security functions and ad hoc duties. Use JPAS for security verifications. Knowledge of security management, access control, and physical security. Additional Information This description may not cover all duties.
