Job Purpose JVM Solutions is hiring Physician Assistants (PAs) to support the Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Fort Bliss, TX. PAs will work under the general supervision of a licensed physician to ensure Service Members (SMs) are medically cleared for Mobilization/Demobilization (MOB/DEMOB). Duties and Responsibilities Conduct medical examinations, assessments, and treatments to ensure SMs meet readiness requirements. Manage 4-6 patients per hour in Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) and 2-3 patients per hour in Separation Health Physical Examination (SHPE). Order and review laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic reports, following up on abnormal results within one week. Prescribe medications in accordance with privileges and regulations. Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MHS Genesis, ensuring all records are complete within 24 hours of patient encounters. Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiopulmonary arrest, as appropriate. Participate in peer reviews, quality assurance programs, and staff meetings relevant to patient care. Utilize telemedicine technologies for health assessments and consultations. Adhere to MTF productivity standards, infection control policies, and universal precautions as per CDC guidelines. Abide by all facility regulations, Joint Commission standards, and professional clinical protocols in accordance with MTF policies. Complete all DoD, DHA, and MTF-mandated training requirements and record work hours in DMHRSi or other designated systems. Qualifications Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program. Bachelor's or Master's degree. National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a PA within the last 3 years. Active, unrestricted PA license in any U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, maintained in a current status. Other Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must pass a criminal background check.
