Are you a Family Medicine physician, searching for your next perm position? This faculty opportunity is with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Moultrie, Georgia might just be the opportunity for you!

• Join a 155-bed community-based reaching hospital in Southwest Georgia with a thriving physician group
• An ideal candidate will be either an experienced physician or a recent graduate interested in pursuing a non-ACGME accredited academic fellowship, with availability to start in 2025 and a strong desire to work in medical education or academic leadership.
• This opportunity is excellent preparation for candidates whose professional goals include teaching family medicine or gaining valuable GME experience needed to pursue a leadership role in a primary care organization
• Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; negotiable depending on GME experience or additional training such as a fellowship.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am – 5pm; on average 2 clinic days, 1 precepting day, and dedicated administration time for GME education per week
• Call: Some call required (mainly during work hours or scheduled home call after hours to cover residents); no overnight call required unless desire to participate in optional OB or inpatient adult medicine coverage
• Procedures: LARC insertion and removal, Pap smears, Joint injections (with and without ultrasound), Skin procedures, Incision and drainage (I&D), Toenail removals, and Sterile vaginal exam/cervical checks
• Patient Volume: an average of 10-12 patients per half day in clinic
• Full and comprehensive benefits package including loan repayment and relocation
