Position Summary The Physician Services Liaison will provide liaison services for Physician Services and will work closely with physician services supervisor to develop and implement resident/fellow retention strategies with the goal of increased resident/fellow recruitment for ECU Health practices and hospitals.
As an Physician Services Liaison, you will:
- Coordinate resident retention efforts with GME and ECU Health senior leadership
- Attend monthly meeting with program coordinators and directors
- Develop relationships with residents/fellows, program coordinators and directors
- Serve as liaison between residents/fellows and physician recruiters
- Create and provide oversite of a resident/fellow database (a) Gather contact information on all residents/fellows when starting training for ongoing communication (b) Gather contact information when they leave for on-going communication and possible recruitment back to ECU Health
- Manage Surveys done through Survey Monkey site to gage the interest of residents and fellows as they start their training
- Assist with the development and implementation of resident/fellow business of medicine programs and socials in conjunction with Graduate Medical Education Office and physician recruiters
- Provide communication and program updates to various members of ECU Heath leadership including reports used to assess ROI and program effectiveness
- Engage in direct communication with residents and fellows regularly to include (a) Arrange speakers/experts for educational sessions (b) Provide CV overview for job preparedness (c) Prepare satisfaction survey to ensure effectiveness of programs (d) Provide timely feedback from surveys/questions to residents/fellows
- Participate in local physician career fairs
- Work with media specialist to develop innovative strategies to connect with residents/fellows
- Track placements of physicians as they leave Brody School of Medicine
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of experience in physician recruitment, healthcare or marketing
- Strong understanding of healthcare with sales/marketing experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Information - 40 hours per week
- Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid): Remote and On-Site work. Required to work some after hours for events
- Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
