K Con is looking for  experienced pipe layers who have knowledge with installing underground utilities for our residential and commercial projects. We have projects located within the greater Seattle area, North King, Snohomish County. Come join our K Con team!

This job is for those that are efficient in partnering with the lead Foreman and Operator onsite to install underground utilities per plans, specs, and local city requirements. This includes underground utilities such as water, sewer, storm, and power, setting grades, pipe bedding, and backfilling both onsite and in the public right of way. Site safety as well as equipment safety is a top priority.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • 3+ years of experience in underground utilities, earthworks, commercial and residential land development.
  • Must be able to review and interpret plans and specifications as well as implement them.
  • Possess clear oral and written communication skills.
  • Responsible for assisting with all other roles including operating and laboring.
  • Knowledge around processes for installation of underground utilities in regard to grades, slopes, compaction, drainage, pipe laser and other tools required to complete tasks.
  • Understands how and when to utilize proper shoring for site safety.
  • Be team oriented and willing to be an asset to crew operations.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time (40+ hours)

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience.
