Standard Builders Inc is actively seeking applicants for an experienced pipe layer.

Duties include

Installing and repairing sanitary and stormwater pipe and structures

Rigging concrete and plastic pipe

Cutting pipes to required lengths

Use of compaction equipment

Desired skills include

Familiarity with pipe laser use, ability to read plans and calculate grades

Familiarity with excavation for underground piping

Assembly and install underground pipe, fittings, and valves of various sizes

Use of hand signals to direct equipment operator and alert to hazards

Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

P6 License or greater.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy civil and industrial environments.

Ability to pass a background check is required.

The ideal candidate also has gas installation experience.
