A fantastic medical center is searching for an experience Registered Nurse to join their leadership team as the Postpartum Assistant Nurse Manager.
The Postpartum Assistant Nurse Manager will report to the Nursing Manager and Nurse Director of Women & Children’s Services and will help lead an amazing team of Registered Nurses. Supported directly by tenured Charge Nurses and a Clinical Educator, the Assistant Nurse Manager will play a vital role in leading clinical and administrative operations for the department.
This Women & Children’s department offers procedures to treat a wide variety of cases. This facility is known for its excellence in Postpartum care and provides inpatient lactation services and prenatal education classes. This highly skilled team of caregivers is made up of tenured Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Lactation Consultants, and other healthcare professionals who all play a vital role in ensuring this unit runs smoothly. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience serving as a Charge Nurse or Preceptor and have their ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications.
The Postpartum Assistant Nurse Manager will work with their Nurse Manager to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks.
