Genesis10 is currently seeking a Principal Architect for a 12 month contract to hire role with our client in the healthcare industry in Minneapolis, MN. This role is 100% remote. Summary: The Principal Architect is responsible for creating and maintaining the Application Architecture strategic vision in collaboration with Product, DevOps, Data Science, Data Engineering, Quality Engineering, and other stakeholders. Leads the Application Architecture by providing oversight of others' conceptual designs to ensure alignment with architecture strategic vision. Provides governance to ensure engineering best practices are followed and to ensure that performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and security aspects are considered in designs. Provides designs and strategic input to senior leadership in Technology and Engineering Teams. Responsibilities: Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business. Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences. Company thought leader, Functional SME, and resource to leadership Coaches, provide feedback, and guides others. Influences leadership by adopting new ideas, technologies, and/or approaches. Predicts emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them. Works within the construction of effective Product Teams, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders Required Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, an Engineering discipline, or relevant experience 10+ years of extensive experience in Software Engineering, supporting Microsoft tech stack such as C#, ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server etc., and cloud-based technologies Azure (App Services, Functions, API Mgmt, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure AI Services, CI/CD, DevSecOps). 8+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing software 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role Broad expertise in architecture, security & integration patterns such as Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, SaaS, GraphQL, OAuth2, SAML, OpenID, IdentityServer4 Experience with Monitoring & security paradigms and related tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace Experience delivering software in continuous integration, testing automation & delivery model Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment Experience in Domain Driven Design Experience working with PII/PHI or sensitive data Understanding of Data Science and Data Engineering concepts Compensation : Hourly W2 pay rate $80.00 to $87.00/hour We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
