In your Dietary Aide role, you will be responsible for serving meals to The Peaks Care Center residents, completing minor prep work and cleaning throughout their shift. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of food sanitation, be able to follow recipes, have a professional appearance, dependable transportation, teachable attitude, and a strong work ethic. Assist in dish and utensil washing and cleaning including gathering soiled items from carts, trays and dining areas and placing clean items in proper storage areas. Check all trays for completeness and accuracy or menu and diet preferences before distribution to residents. Ensure proper storage of raw and leftover foods. Assist and direct the daily or scheduled cleaning duties. Perform all daily tasks in accordance with established Universal Precautions sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Healthcare/skilled nursing home experience preferred. Must possess a strong desire to work with the elderly. Must have the ability to multitask.

WAGE RANGE: $16.00 - $17.36 DOE
