Product Designer/Drafter
Job Description (major tasks): The Product Designer/Drafter (reporting to the Engineering Manager) is responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings to support product development and manufacturing. This role requires CAD skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with engineers. Engineers with CAD skills and an eagerness to transition into the engineering department will be considered for this role.
Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
Knowledge and experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure accuracy and clarity of technical drawings.
Improving skills and knowledge over time through training, tool exploration, and coding.
Ability to follow Core Tech standards and established processes within the drafting team.
Minimum Required Competency:
2-year associate degree or certificate in computer automated design
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD platforms
Organizational and communication skills
An equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

Pay: $50, $62,000.00 per year
