Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented individual to fill the role of Product Management Support Intern at our offices in Sterling, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in addressing the day-to-day requests form product management and national account managers for product specs, samples, information collection cross-functionally from engineering, sales, finance, packaging, IP, and compliance as needed
  • Assist in line review process including creating and analyzing sales reports.
  • Work closely with industry research specialist to provide a dashboard of relevant industry trends for clipper, trimmer, pet, and massage categories.
  • Assist in the review and documentation of key account product listings and store plan-o-grams (current and historic). Create process for sales and marketing teams to review / retrieve.
  • Assist efforts in research activities including report documentation, product, packaging, price logic, and segmentation
  • Assists with new / obsolete product and product change process (D365)
  • Other projects as assigned by supervisor

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student or recently graduated from an accredited university
  • Completed at least one year of college
  • Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related major preferred
  • Team player with ability to interface and build relationships at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong analytic and visualization skills
  • Ability to take direction and manage projects to completion, coachable and a fast learner of technical and non-technical material
  • Ability to work 40-hrs a week (in the Sterling,IL office)
  • PowerPoint, Word, and Excel proficiency preferred
