About the Role:

We are a cutting-edge beauty tech startup on a mission to transform the beauty experience. We're launching two exciting products: a beauty-oriented smart mirror and a beauty app designed to foster community connections. As a  Product Owner , you’ll be at the helm of our smart mirror product launch, ensuring the successful delivery of this innovative device while working closely with both our supplier and software development team to create a seamless, market-ready experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap for the smart mirror, from concept to market launch in the U.S.
• Work directly with hardware suppliers to ensure timely delivery of the smart mirror, and manage the production process for on-time fulfillment.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, hardware, and design, to deliver the operating system for the smart mirror.
• Define and communicate product requirements for the smart mirror’s software and user interface, ensuring it meets both business goals and user expectations.
• Develop detailed product specifications and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
• Conduct market research, user testing, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and ensure the product meets consumer needs.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align product features with go-to-market strategies and launch plans.
• Track product performance, collect user feedback, and iterate to enhance product features post-launch.
• Work closely with the beauty app product team to ensure consistency in user experience between the two products.

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a tech startup or consumer electronics company.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, agile methodologies, and lifecycle management.
• Solid technical background to communicate effectively with both hardware suppliers and software engineers.
• Proven track record of successfully launching hardware and software products strongly preferred
• Experience in the beauty or wellness industry is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Passion for innovative technology and consumer products, particularly in the beauty space.
