This job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting overarching program management for Coffeehouse Design and Concepts. This role will drive implementing improvements related to Coffeehouse Design and Development commercialization related processes. It will also drive reimagining and optimizing how we commercialize items for the new catalog of coffeehouse design elements and support global item lifecycle management. In addition, this role will partner in the process for critical item set up and definition within the commercialization process, enabling ordering and fulfillment of items for construction teams.

+ Work collaboratively with a wide variety of support center teams, including but not limited to regional design, construction and real estate, concepts, sourcing, legal, and procurement.
+ Partner with concepts, sourcing, and support center teams to drive Global Coffeehouse Design and Development item lifecycle management.
+ Leads high performing, cross-functional teams to deliver complex, multi-year, multifaceted programs
+ Lead cross-functional process optimization efforts
+ Collaborate with, grow, and develop the partners around you as you indirectly lead internal and external teams
+ Consult and provide process input for other teams and business units.
_We'd love to hear from people with:_
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience with the application of industry-based project management methodologies and tools
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex large-scale business or information technology projects
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience building and mentoring teams
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience mentoring other project managers in program and project management
+ Minimum of 8 years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
+ Demonstrated agility in dealing with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment
+ Ability to build strong relationships and engage across differing cultures and societies
+ Demonstrate abilities as a team player and leader
+ 5 years experience in process optimization
+ Previous experience working with designers is preferred
+ Prefer 4 year degree

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
