Project and Performance Analyst (Operations Review Specialist)

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a highly responsible professional position that reports to the Revenue Program Administrator in the Payment Processing and Fund Distribution Unit and provides support to the Program and regional processes in the areas of performance analysis, quality assurance, and strategic research and evaluation. Your duties would include:

 

  • Analyzing and resolving complex case issues; reviewing and completing adjustments to financial information; and working with other processes, including technical staff, to enhance system functions.
  • Conducting monitoring activities, reviewing operational transactions and performance information, and writing reports.
  • Reviewing procedures and system functionality to identify existing and potential gaps that create areas of financial risk to the Program and recommending solutions.
  • Coordinating and communicating with program office and regional child support team members regarding operational and monitoring activities, procedures and system functions and projects and proposed changes.
  • Identifying trends in production and performance and reporting to management.
  • Participating in Payment Processing teleconferences by suggesting and presenting process improvements, workflow changes, system enhancements, and educational topics.
  • Leading or participating on teams.
  • Consulting with management on the development and evaluation of operational plans.
  • Analyzing monthly performance, perform trend and comparative analyses to determine reason for performance variations, developing recommendations and solutions and reporting results.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • One (1) year of experience participating in or leading a project or team
  • One (1) year of experience writing and revising documents
  • One (1) year of experience analyzing procedures and workflows
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing and resolving complex scenarios

PREFERENCES:

  • 1+ year of experience working in the Child Support Program
  • Experience working with Child Support Payment Processing & Fund Distribution

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is part-time telework eligible after training and an acceptable level of proficiency is reached.
  • A skills verification test (SVT) may be used to determine applicants eligible for interview.

SALARY: $46,668.00 - $63,102.48
