Job Description

Job Title: Public Health Educator (Part-Time)
Location: Cheverly, MD

Responsibilities:

Perform disease and animal exposure investigations according to established protocols.
Document all cases and submit to supervisor for review.
Adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines related to disease control and public health.
Utilize computer systems proficiently (e.g., Microsoft Office, Internet).
Attend all assigned trainings, seminars, and conferences.
Contribute as a member of a multidisciplinary disease control team.
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to travel between sites as required.

Qualifications:

Experience in disease investigation within a public health setting.
Prior federal, state, or local government experience is preferred.
No specific certifications required.
