Job Title: QC Data Reviewer
Job Description
The QC Chemistry Data Reviewer is responsible for overseeing 14 chemists and lab technicians involved in testing finished products, raw materials, and ANDA products within the lab. This role includes completing data reviews and assisting in audits and investigations related to deviations in daily testing for pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and review the work of chemists testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, and components, as well as stability study samples.
+ Focus on testing new ANDA Oral Dose products and assist with testing samples such as oral rinses and antiseptics using titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC.
+ Conduct testing with various techniques including HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.
+ Inspect supplies and ingredients used in the production of pharmaceutical products.
+ Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy.
+ Participate in some instrument validation as needed.
+ Ensure adherence to GMP and FDA guidelines.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related
+ 3-5+ years of experience with HPLC/GC and Pharmaceuticals/cGMP
+ Hands-on experience with GC, HPLC, FTIR, and wet chemistry (titration).
+ Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP.
+ Proficient in laboratory notebook documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
