Job Description

Location: Coraopolis PA

Contract: 1 year contract with potential conversion

Schedule: Part-time (Days/Hours are flexible!)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Part-Time Quality Assistant to support their Quality Team, this role is perfect for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours. The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Keeping Quality procedures and files current, organized, and compliant
  • Helping out with product inspections
  • Supporting the Quality Team to stay on track with calibration processes/tracking

Key Responsibilities:

Document Control & Management

  • Maintain and update controlled documents, certifications, and paperwork
  • Ensure the most current document revisions are available and appropriately signed off/stored
  • Scan, rename, and electronically file paperwork in designated folders.
  • Follow detailed instructions to review documents for completeness and accuracy.

Calibration Support:

  • Gather, organize, and issue calibrated instruments to employees as needed
  • Verify that all calibration certificates meet documented requirements
  • Ensure all calibrations for the facility are completed
  • Maintain continuous production by ensuring no measurement devices are expired
  • Maintain records of all calibration activities and certificates in calibration software (training will be provided)
  • Issue calibrated instruments to employees as needed

Administrative & Quality Support

  • Assist with scanning, verifying and filing quality records, certifications and documents
  • Perform additional clerical/administrative duties as assigned
  • Aid Quality team as needed- final inspections, scan and file paperwork
  • Support the Quality team in implementing and monitoring quality processes

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of solid work experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in documentation, electronic filing, scanning and verifying paperwork
  • Administrative and computer savvy
  • Must be detail oriented, task oriented and organized
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
