POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for supporting the investment team in the origination, underwriting, acquisition, asset management, performance reporting, and overall execution of student housing real estate investment opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluate and analyze potential investment opportunities Preparation of complex financial models for the acquisition of real estate investments Perform detailed market analysis to determine investment strategy and business plan. Prepare investment summaries to provide the investment team and external partners with actionable information on investment opportunities. Assist and lead in due diligence activities for new acquisitions Assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting materials for a portfolio of owned assets Participate in the asset management of a portfolio of owned assets Overall support of the principals in implementing our investment strategies and evaluating potential investments.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Qualifications: BA/BS in business or related field E xperience: At least 2 to 4 years working at a multifamily housing company sourcing and analyzing potential acquisitions desirable; student housing experience preferred Meaningful deal/investment experience in multifamily equity transactions. Skills: Skilled in real estate underwriting and financial analysis. Extremely strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats. A very high level of proficiency with Excel. Extremely strong financial acumen with property valuation knowledge. Excellent financial modeling, due diligence, analytical, transaction structuring, and financial skills. Understanding of joint ventures and waterfall modeling Ability to suggest innovative approaches to situations and problems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to conduct business in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. Campus Advantage
