CFO- Long Beach My client is a leading real estate company specializing in [multifamily and commercial real estate. With a diverse portfolio of properties across multiple regions, the company is committed to excellence in property management, development, and investment. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team and drive financial performance and organizational growth. Position Summary: The CFO will oversee the financial strategy and operations of the company, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth. This executive role requires expertise in real estate financial management, tax planning, and strategic forecasting. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with a proven track record in complex real estate transactions, capital management, and tax strategies. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to align with business objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to identify growth opportunities, manage risks, and enhance profitability. Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on financial planning, budgeting, and performance metrics. Financial Operations: Oversee all accounting, finance, and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Monitor and optimize capital structure, debt management, and investment opportunities. Tax Expertise: Lead the company’s tax planning and compliance efforts to minimize liability and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Provide strategic guidance on tax implications for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and developments. Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed. Real Estate Focus: Analyze and assess financial models for property acquisitions, developments, and dispositions. Drive financial due diligence for real estate transactions, including underwriting and risk analysis. Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial stakeholders. Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred). 10 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the real estate industry. Extensive knowledge of real estate transactions, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital markets. Strong understanding of property management systems and reporting tools Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
