Summary: The Real Estate Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial modeling and analysis related to current and future real estate projects. This individual will review and analyze project budgets and work with the corporate real estate department to track all project expenses. They will also work with our corporate accounting team to ensure the expenses are capitalized correctly.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform financial projections and other analysis used to evaluate real estate opportunities and investments in current properties
- Provide support to the corporate real estate department to track project budgets and ensure expenditures are posted timely in our project database system (Projecto)
- Provide support to corporate accounting department to ensure projects are capitalized correctly
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss the status of all real estate projects
- Produce summarized reports showing the investment in each property
- Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis with a focus on real estate
Certificates and Licenses:
√ Valid Driver's License
Computer Skills:
Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Experience with Projecto or another project database system a plus. Experience with presentation tools and data visualization a plus
Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with company personnel.
Attendance Expectations:
The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled hours may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays to meet required deadlines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and sit. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Environment Demands:
Duties are performed primarily an office environment in the management office. Position requires frequent interaction with Management Office employees. Some travel may be required by car or plane.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills. Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical. Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
