Pleasant Grove Recreation - Parking Lot Attendant
Recreation Department
Part-time/Non-Exempt
Reports to Funshine Manager
$10-$13/hour DOQ
 General Purpose: 
 The Pleasant Grove Recreation Center is looking for a reliable and observant individual to serve as our  Parking Lot & Safety Attendant  . This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons by overseeing parking lot activity, assisting with traffic flow during busy periods, and supporting our Funshine Preschool during drop-off and pick-up times. 
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor the recreation center parking lot to ensure a safe environment
Place warnings on vehicles parked incorrectly or in unauthorized zones
Issue tickets to repeat offenders in accordance with City policy
Log detailed vehicle descriptions and incidents in a spreadsheet
Assist with preschool drop-off and pick-up to ensure smooth, safe transitions for children and families
Serve as a point of contact for parking-related concerns and questions
Perform other duties as assigned by the Recreation Center staff
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Responsible, detail-oriented, and assertive when needed
Able to remain calm and professional in high-traffic or tense situations
Comfortable using basic spreadsheet software for recordkeeping
Experience working around children or in a public-facing role is a plus
Must pass a background check
