Job Title: Refrigeration Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Refrigeration Project Manager to join our team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience managing commercial and industrial refrigeration projects. This role requires a deep understanding of refrigeration systems, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent project management skills to successfully oversee all phases of project execution from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage refrigeration projects from design and permitting through installation and closeout.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction coordination.
• Review and approve refrigeration system designs, equipment selections (e.g., compressors, condensers, evaporators), and installation methods.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project to manage project documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and compliant project delivery.
• Monitor jobsite progress, identify project risks, and implement timely resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, EPA regulations, OSHA safety guidelines, and local codes.
• Conduct system start-ups, performance verification, and client training as needed.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial/industrial refrigeration projects
• Proficient in project management tools: Bluebeam, Procore, and MS Project.
• Solid understanding of refrigeration principles, controls, and equipment.
• Familiarity with refrigerants, leak detection, and environmental compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Located in or willing to relocate/commute to Orange, CA.
