We have 1 full-time position working Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and 1 Per Diem position. These positions will float between the following offices: Sewell, Turnersville, Voorhees, West Deptford and more.

Since 1938, South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) has been the region's premier, physician led medical imaging provider in South Jersey. Our highly-experienced team of 58 board-certified, subspecialized radiologists - including body imagers, interventional radiologists, musculoskeletal imagers, nuclear medicine radiologists, and women's imagers - interpret all radiology studies, from standard X-rays to the most complex procedures, across 16 clinical locations. SJRA is recognized as the region's first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence and Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology.

The overall purpose and objective of this position is to perform intravenous injections and provide nursing care as needed.

• Starting and maintaining IV access for patients needing contrast injections
• Monitoring patients receiving IV contrast
• Documenting IV contrast reactions and extravasations
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all medications in the office, including the crash cart
• Be responsible for the defibrillators’ maintenance and QC
• Provide SJRA employees with yearly PPD and flu vaccines
• Provide medical care for patients, physicians and staff in urgent situations
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and Corporate Compliance regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current, valid RN license in the State of New Jersey
• Strong IV skills and IV experience required
• At least five (5) years nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS and CPR certifications
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School or College
• ICU/CCU experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of contrast mediums and their use in Radiology
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment such as fax machine, copier, multiline telephone, etc.

Physical Demands of the Position – Position requires sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, lifting and reaching during scheduled shift. There is frequent use of computer, keyboard and computer mouse

Working Conditions – Exposure to blood and body fluids. Daily patient contact. Possible exposure to radiation. Job is performed in indoor office setting
