We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated Remote Bookkeeper to join our virtual team and support our clients with daily financial operations.

What You'll Do

As our Remote Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing client books accurately and timely. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recording financial transactions in QuickBooks (or client-preferred accounting software)

  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable

  • Processing payroll and tax payments (as applicable)

  • Generating monthly financial reports and balance sheets

  • Assisting with budgeting and cash flow analysis

  • Communicating with clients and team members via email, chat, or video calls

  • Maintaining organized digital financial records

Requirements
  • Must be based in the United States

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar accounting software

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Comfortable working independently and remotely

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Reliable internet connection and a home office setup

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience with multiple client accounts or working in a virtual firm

  • Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Gusto, ADP)

  • Knowledge of Excel, Google Workspace, and financial dashboards
