Remote Healthcare Business Analyst Consultant - Product Development for our Fortune 100 healthcare
Location: Remote
Pay : $40-53/hour based on experience, certifications, and education (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours: Full-time hours; Monday to Friday; standard business hours
Status: Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled
Remote Healthcare Business Analyst Consultant - Product Development to join our client's team remotely. This individual will be responsible for translating complex medical regulations into clear communication rules and requirements that support business processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business customers, operations, technology teams, and regulatory experts to define, document, and refine product capabilities. This role plays a critical part in the development of current and future product offerings, ensuring alignment with market/customer needs and regulatory guidelines. You will lead competitor and market trend research, drive the development of new workflows, and help resolve challenges with product capabilities. This role will also involve extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of requirements and deliverables. This role supports a large-scale project involving multiple business customers. As part of a smaller communications team (5 full-time members), you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop product design and documentation that aligns with business strategy. You will be expected to understand both the business needs and regulatory requirements while collaborating to draft clear requirements and capabilities documentation for various product designs.

Job Duties: - Collaborate with business customers to define product and communication requirements, ensuring clear and concise business needs and technical specifications.
- Partner with the regulatory team to interpret communication requirements and ensure that all business processes and workflows meet regulatory standards.
- Map out and document future business processes and workflows, illustrating the impact of new capabilities on existing operations.
- Work with IT counterparts to develop technical solutions for the defined product requirements, ensuring functionality is aligned with business needs.
- Support the testing of new functionalities to ensure that the delivered solution aligns with product and regulatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing support for production-related issues concerning communication requirements, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Lead research into competitor offerings and market trends to understand customer needs and identify new opportunities or adjustments to current products.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including customers and product partners, to define and drive future product directions.
- Collaborate with the Capability Manager to ensure that documented business and user requirements reflect the vision for the capability, and lead reviews to ensure signoff from all relevant parties.
- Participate in weekly grooming ceremonies to review progress on feature development and contribute to the refinement of product capabilities.
Requirements - Verifiable Associate's Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare or managed care industry, with a focus on product design, business operations, or data analysis.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough market research and apply findings to business and product strategies.
- Knowledge of regulatory communication requirements within healthcare and insurance.
- Proficient in conducting market research and data collection to identify market/customer needs.
- Able to articulate the relationship between product capabilities and overarching business and regulatory strategy.
- Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams to align business and technical requirements.
- Ability to map future business processes and create comprehensive product design documents.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to solve moderately complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Strong time management, organization, and ability to manage timelines and schedules for product requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to coach and guide others while supporting the management and evolution of assigned capabilities.
Highly Preferred - Large corporation experience and Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience.
