Sheepdog Public Safety is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard in Elk Park, NC . In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety and security of a residential community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and alarms, investigating disturbances as necessary.
- Document and report daily activities, incidents, and irregularities such as property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Provide assistance and a security presence to residents and guests as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required for state registration as a security guard).
- Ability to pass a background check (required for state registration as a security guard).
- Previous security experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
