Job Summary:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions as necessary.
- Coordinate care across all disciplines for seamless patient experiences.
- Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Participate in physician rounds in an inpatient setting.
- Apply evidence-based practices to ensure age-specific and clinical needs are met.
- Uphold professional nursing standards and the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensing.
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant use of speech for communication.
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use.
- Occasional lifting/moving of patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
