Job Description:

The Bilingual Construction Safety Trainer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive safety training programs in both English and Spanish. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety training programs and materials in both English and Spanish.
• Conduct safety training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on various construction safety topics.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform site safety inspections and audits, providing feedback and corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and certifications.
• Assist in the development of safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify safety training needs.
• Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, trends, and best practices in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Certification as a Construction Safety Trainer (e.g., OSHA Outreach Trainer) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety training or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• Strong presentation and instructional skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
