Job Description: As a Sales and Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support for both the sales and marketing activities. You will assist in the creation, implementation, and tracking of marketing campaigns, client outreach, and sales initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of sales activities and the development of marketing materials that drive brand awareness and generate leads.
Key Responsibilities: - Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in lead generation and maintaining client relationships.
- Coordinate sales meetings, follow-ups, and communication with potential and existing clients.
- Update and maintain client databases and sales tracking systems.
- Prepare and organize sales presentations and proposals.
- Marketing Support:
- Assist in the creation and execution of digital and print marketing campaigns (e.g., email marketing, social media posts, advertisements).
- Help manage social media accounts and monitor engagement metrics.
- Prepare marketing collateral including brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., printing, design, promotional products).
- Conduct market research to support strategy development.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Organize and maintain files, reports, and sales/marketing documentation.
- Assist with event planning and coordination for trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.
- Handle client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics (e.g., email open rates, social media reach, website traffic).
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Associate's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred, not required).
- Experience in a sales or marketing support role (internships or part-time roles acceptable).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with marketing software/tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with SEO and SEM strategies.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other paid marketing channels.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email campaigns.
