Work arrangements: Onsite hybrid

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: Approx. 5-months+ (880 hours)

Engagement Type: W-2 only No Corp-to-Corp (C2C) or 1099 arrangements permitted

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to support key initiatives within a collaborative development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience developing with Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) . Experience with the nCino platform is a strong advantage .

Overview:

Provides designs, specifies information systems solutions, and leads technical direction in the development of new or existing applications. This includes both basic and complex problem-solving or enhancements. Serves as a principal application designer for major modifications and provides solutions that are technically sound. May participate in day-to-day support activities and strategic development projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute and lead application analysis, design, and development efforts
  • Act as an individual contributor on complex initiatives and projects
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable Apex code and Lightning Web Components
  • Design and implement custom business logic and workflows within Salesforce
  • Lead or mentor junior developers and coordinate development tasks across teams
  • Provide technical input into project plans and timelines
  • Collaborate with operations and development teams throughout the SDLC
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans and perform debugging
  • Document technical specifications and maintain systems documentation
  • Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and performance standards
  • Recommend improvements in tools, process, or policies as appropriate
  • Support system integration activities and cross-functional projects
  • Promote use of best practices and development standards
  • Identify risk-related issues and escalate as needed
  • Complete other related duties or projects as assigned


Scope of Responsibilities:

This position works under the supervision of the Technology Team Lead. The developer is expected to work independently and may lead project tasks or teams. Interfaces regularly with senior management, stakeholders, and vendors. May serve as a technical point of contact on project committees or special initiatives.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and at least 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience
    OR
    A combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or relevant work experience including 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Proven experience developing within the Salesforce platform
  • Proficient with Apex Classes , Triggers , and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working independently
  • Familiarity with general software development tools, platforms, and SDLC best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on the nCino platform
  • Advanced understanding of integrated applications and Salesforce configurations
  • Experience guiding projects from requirements through deployment
  • Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Action-oriented and proactive in solving technical challenges
  • Previous experience in highly regulated environments is a plus
