Allegiance Staffing is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Workers on all three shifts for a respected food production client with locations in Lancaster and Ephrata, PA. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment and facilities meet strict sanitation, food safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Sanitation
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production machinery
Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for thorough cleaning.
Remove debris, de-scale surfaces, wipe and sanitize all contact areas following SOPs.
Execute weekly deep clean tasks including CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures for select equipment.
Facility Sanitation
Clean plant floors daily using mops, buckets, or floor scrubbers with sanitizing agents.
Sanitize open traffic areas, dry storage, coolers, and storage spaces.
Clean and maintain cleanliness of walls, ceilings, vents, and facility surfaces on a regular schedule.
Identify and report any maintenance concerns related to HVAC or facility sanitation systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Previous sanitation experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to understand GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures
Comfortable working in a physically active role – ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to work in both warm and refrigerated environments
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and cleanliness
