As a Security Professional - - Chemical Site Patrol - Full Time in Goleta, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical or petrochemical location. You will remain visible while monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those related to chemical and petrochemical operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of site activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and maintenance issues found during patrols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed to address incidents or unusual situations within the location.
• Remain alert to site-specific risks and hazards associated with chemical and petrochemical operations while performing patrols and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or security license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
