💰 Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 + Bonus
Smith Hanley Associates is working with a premier client in the life (re)insurance space, a company known for its expertise in acquiring in-force life insurance and annuity blocks. They’re looking to add an Associate Actuary to their growing valuation team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple business functions— financial reporting, experience analysis, and capital management —in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
What We’re Looking For:
📌 4+ years of actuarial experience in insurance or consulting
📌 ASA designation or near-ASA (5+ exams)
📌 Experience with US Statutory or GAAP reserving and financial reporting
📌 Strong analytical skills and actuarial modeling proficiency
📌 Solid understanding of life insurance and reinsurance products
