  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, and trade partners to ensure coordinated, code-compliant design packages.
  • Work closely with field installation teams to confirm feasibility, identify improvements, and support installation sequencing.
  • Lead system analysis for energy performance, system efficiency, life-cycle costing, and equipment sizing.
  • Ensure all designs meet building codes, mechanical standards, and company quality expectations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, assist with design standards development, and help elevate overall engineering capabilities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for building construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, building codes, and industry standards (IMC, IPC, ASHRAE, NFPA).
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace / HAP , and industry-specific calculation software.
  • Experience working for a mechanical contractor or MEP consulting firm strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and collaborate closely with field installation teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.

🔹 Why Join Us?

  • Opportunity to influence mechanical system design across major construction projects.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture where engineering and field teams work hand-in-hand.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Strong pipeline of exciting projects and long-term growth opportunities.
